Cedar Venetian

Cedar Venetians have always been a popular option to treat windows with premium look and feel. Available in 3 stunning colors in Light, Medium and Dark, our Cedar Venetians feature the Western Red Cedar imported from North America providing enhanced light control and durability with quality finish. Graded timber is well processed and lacquered to minimize splitting and warping and deliver the kind of warmth and luxury that only Cedar provides.

Finishes

Slat: 45 mm wide x 2.8 mm ± 0.2 mm thick from imported Western Red Cedar with slat ends stained or painted to match slat color. Furnish not less than nominal 6.9 slats per foot ensure tight closure and light control.

Dimensions: Width 500 mm minimum - 3000 mm maximum. Height 500 mm minimum - 3000 mm maximum.

Slat Support: Ladder strings made of 100% polyester yarn compatible with slats and spacing of ladder no more than 45 mm.

Headrail: U-shaped profile with rolled edges measuring 52 mm x 57mm x 0.4 mm made of corrosion resistant steel providing a sleek high profile design. Internal components well fit for specified performance and designed for smooth and trouble-free operation. Headrail finish to be standard baked-on polyester and to coordinate with slats. Ends fitted with high-density white plastic end caps.

Bottom Rail: Oval shape 45 mm x 15mm bottom rail made of imported Western Red Cedar with ends stained or painted to match slats. Color-coordinated engineered polymer bottom buttons to secure the ladder and cord. Finish to be stained or painted to match color of slat.

Lifting Mechanism: Fully enclosed standard cord tilt holds and tilts slats at any angle. Solid steel, corrosion resistant tilt rod.

Mounting Brackets: Steel square brackets measuring 62 mm x 65 mm x 1 mm with baked-on polyester finish suiting slat color.

Fascia: Canterbury shape 63.5 mm x 7 mm crafted of Western Red Cedar stained or painted to match slat color. Side fascia available upon request.

Blind Measurement: Shall be accurate with a maximum deviation of no more than 3mm or as recommended in writing by epic window fashion.

Deduction Rules: 10 mm off opening width for inside mount. No deductions for outside mount. Slat Finish: Light, Medium and Dark.

Leadtime & MOQ: As a premium material it’s increasingly difficult to acquire Western Red Cedar all over the world due to strict logging regulations in North America so the overall supply is limited. It is also for this reason that it often takes up to 2 months to finish manufacturing. For Cedar Venetian, we require the MOQ to be no less than 500 square meters.
