Beautifully made with basswood offering a range of painted and stained colors, our basswood shutters deliver a timeless elegance to any decor. They simply will stand out in your room and give you functionality, privacy and great light control while in the meantime creating an inviting ambience.

Finishes

Finishes: Painted: 9 colors - White, Dusk, Soft Glow, Old Moon, Oyster, Sea Pearl, Picaso, Chalk, and Natural White. Stained: 6 colors - Golden Oak, Fruitwood, Old Mahogany, Coffee Bean, Black Walnut, and Light Ash.

Deduction Rules: Inside Mount: 3 mm off opening width and 4 mm off opening height. Outside Mount: No deductions taken.

Making Size: If you do not want to take any deductions off the sizes you provided, you must indicate “making size” in the general note section.

Non-mortise Hinge: 76 mm x 28 mm pre-attached to the panels. Used for framed shutters & for Inside Mounting, directly to the window opening.

Top / Bottom Rail: Specific-sized Top or Bottom available on request - no extra charge applies.

Z Frame Options: Bullnose Z Frame, Crown-Z Frame, Decor Frame, Hang Strip, Camber Frame, Light Block.

U-channel: Top and bottom channel is supplied along with a left and right light block. Eliminates the need for hinges on the panels. Four lengths of light block are supplied as standard (Top, Bottom, Right, Left).

Hang Strip: 35 mm x 25 mm basswood.

Double Hinges: Reverse double hinging available. The second panel folds in front of the first.

Pivot Hinges: The top and bottom stiles are pre-processed to accommodate the pivot hinge. Colours: White or Antique Brass.

T-Post: 59.4 mm x 49.5 mm. Single or multiple T-Posts are available. All measurements are to be supplied from the left hand side to the middle of the T-Post. If T-Posts are uneven, then you must check “Uneven T-Post” section of on the order form. T-Posts can be made bigger if required. Please specify the size required. T-Post brackets will be supplied when frames are not ordered.

Middle Rail: All measurements are to be supplied from the bottom of your order height to the center of the mid rail. Middle rails come standard at approx. 80 mm to 90 mm for 63 mm and 89 mm louvres, 100 mm for 114 mm louvres. Middle rail height can be positioned up or down by a maximum of 20 mm unless ordered as CRITICAL.

D-Mold: If you require D-Mold, you must specify on the order form showing which panel requires the D-Mold. L-DR shows the right hand panel to have D-Mould. LD-R shows the left hand panel to have the D-Mould.

Tilt Rods Options: Hidden (aka Clearview), Offset Tilt Rod, Centre Tilt Rod.

Multi Panels: Window orders two or more panels will come STANDARD with rabbited stiles unless otherwise noted.

Hidden Tilt Rod (Clearview): Fitted to the rear of the panel usually 40-50 mm in, from the stile. Shutter panels can have split tilt mechanism split into two or three sections without the need for a middle rail. Measurement from the bottom of the panel is required. When ordering direct mount without light block, striker plates will be supplied.

Sliding or Bi-Pass Shutters: Normal square meter price plus surcharge (please refer to pricing guide). All sliding Shutters will be supplied with a top track and bottom guide as standard. All sliding shutters come with light blocks as STANDARD. Headboard (190 mm x 100 mm) for inside mount, (140 mm x 160 mm) for outside mount, sideboard and fascia will be assembled into one piece. The max size for a one-piece headboard and fascia is 4200mm. “M”-shaped bottom track (36 mm x 10mm) available on request. A bottom board with the track routed in, is also available on request.

Bi-Pass Max. Widths: 1000 mm Max Panel or 1200 mm with Centre Stile.

Bi-Folding Shutters: Normal square meter price plus surcharge (please refer to pricing guide). All Bi-folding shutters are supplied with a top track and no bottom track as STANDARD. Headboard (112 mm x 60 mm) for inside mount, (140 mm x 160 mm) for outside mount, sideboard and fascia will be assembled into one piece. The max size for a one-piece headboard and fascia is 4200mm.

Shaped Shutters: Surcharge applies. Please refer to pricing guide. Shares are charged at maximum height x maximum width plus surcharge. A paper template is required to generate shutter production drawings.
