PVC Shutters

Our PVC shutters are made of solid PVC with an aluminum core for stability carrying in a 5-year limited warranty. Perfect for moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, they are low maintenance and allergy free providing very good control of light and airflow. Besides they can be easily cleaned and maintained leaving you peace of mind.

Finishes

Finishes: Painted: 9 colors - White, Dusk, Soft Glow, Old Moon, Oyster, Sea Pearl, Picaso, Chalk, and Natural White.

Louvre Sizes: 63 mm, 89 mm and 114 mm wide x 11 mm thick (solid PVC with aluminium core).

Deduction Rules: Inside Mount: 3 mm off opening width and 4 mm off opening height. Outside Mount: No deductions taken.

Making Size: If you do not want to take any deductions off the sizes you provided, you must indicate “making size” in the general note section.

Non-mortise Hinge: 76 mm x 28 mm pre-attached to the panels. Used for framed shutters & for Inside Mounting, directly to the window opening.

Top / Bottom Rail: Specific-sized Top or Bottom available on request - no extra charge applies.

Z Frame Options: Bullnose Z Frame, Crown-Z Frame, Decor Frame, Hang Strip, Camber Frame, Light Block.

U-channel: Top and bottom channel is supplied along with a left and right light block. Eliminates the need for hinges on the panels. Four lengths of light block are supplied as standard (Top, Bottom, Right, Left).

Double Hinges: Reverse double hinging available. The second panel folds in front of the first.

Pivot Hinges: The top and bottom stiles are pre-processed to accommodate the pivot hinge. Colours: White or Antique Brass.

T-Post: 65 mm x 46.5 mm. Single or multiple T-Posts are available. All measurements are to be supplied from the left hand side to the middle of the T-Post. If T-Posts are uneven, then you must check “Uneven T-Post” section of on the order form. T-Posts can be made bigger if required. Please specify the size required. T-Post brackets will be supplied when frames are not ordered.

Middle Rail: All measurements are to be supplied from the bottom of your order height to the center of the mid rail. Middle rails are only available in one size 87 mm. Middle rail height can be positioned up or down by a maximum of 20 mm unless ordered as CRITICAL.

D-Mold: If you require D-Mold, you must specify on the order form showing which panel requires the D-Mold. L-DR shows the right hand panel to have D-Mould. LD-R shows the left hand panel to have the D-Mould.

Multi Panels: Window orders two or more panels will come STANDARD with rabbited stiles unless otherwise noted.

Tilt Rods Options: Hidden (aka Clearview), Offset Tilt Rod, Centre Tilt Rod.

Hidden Tilt Rod (Clearview): Fitted to the rear of the panel usually 40-50 mm in, from the stile. Shutter panels can have split tilt mechanism split into two or three sections without the need for a middle rail. Measurement from the bottom of the panel is required. When ordering direct mount without light block, striker plates will be supplied.

Sliding or Bi-Pass Shutters: Normal square meter price plus surcharge (please refer to pricing guide). Maximum overall width is 4000 mm. All sliding shutters come with a bottom track as standard. Headboard (190 mm x 100 mm) for inside mount, (140 mm x 160 mm) for outside mount, sideboard and fascia will be assembled into one piece. “U” shaped track, 14.5 mm x 8.5 mm will be provided if bottom board is requested and will automatically be routed in. The maximum size for a one-piece headboard and fascia is 2700mm. “M”-shaped track will be supplied if no bottom board is required. A bottom board with the track routed in, is also available on request.

Bi-Folding Shutters: Normal square meter price plus surcharge (please refer to pricing guide). All Bi-folding shutters must be ordered with a bottom track and an even number of panels is a must. “U” shaped track, 14.5 mm x 8.5 mm aluminum is supplied and concealed into the bottom board. Optional “M” shaped track, 36 mm x 10 mm available. Maximum panel width is 650 mm. Headboard (112 mm x 60 mm) for inside mount, (140 mm x 160) mm outside mount will be assembled with sideboard and fascia into one piece. Maximum overall length is 4000 mm.
