We guarantee our blinds against defects in workmanship and materials. Our warranty differs across our range of products.
The warranty is not transferable.
The warranty is only valid if the blinds have been fully paid.
The customer must present epic window fashion with proof of purchase for the warranty claim to be valid.
EWF Will Not Warrant Any Blinds / Shutters
Variations in wood grain, wood stain or paint.
Fraying of the fabric as a result of improper use.
Fraying of cords as a result of normal wear and tear.
Wooden venetian blinds installed in wet and humid areas.
Blinds that are ordered outside normal specifications or price grids.
Failure on the part of the customer to take proper care of the blinds.
Care and maintenance not in accordance with recommended instructions.
Misuse, incorrect installation or accidental damage of the blinds by the user.
EWF’s liability shall be limited to the original invoiced value of the defective goods.
Any further costs or subsequent loss/damage e.g. Installation costs and other expenses.
Any blinds for which there is a warranty claim must be returned to EWF at the customer’s cost.
Slight colour fabric shade and texture variations that may occur from lot to lot of materials that are used to manufacture blinds.
EWF must be given an opportunity to repair faulty or damaged blinds with new components or fabrics, and the customer accepts that new components or fabrics may differ(both visually and in terms of function) to those originally purchased by the customer.
Returned Blinds / Shutters
No goods will be accepted without prior authorization from EWF.
No claims for damaged product will be recognized after 21 days from receipt of goods.
Where a remake of the product is requested it will be invoiced at normal price. Upon returning to EWF, inspection will be performed to determine the error of the returned goods, if the error is established to be EWF’s a credit will be issued. If a photo clearly shows the fault or flaw, the remake will be invoiced at no charge.
